Hatha Flow

This class is intended for a physical and mental transformation. The lights are dimmed throughout the studio in an effort to transcend the physical body and focus on the breath and energies within the body, and the sensations experienced in postures. This class is open level, and is in traditional Hatha style, including breath work , Surya Namaskars to stimulate the body, and a series of flows with postures held for several breaths to reap the full benefits of the relationship between asana and breath. During class, you will experience harmony between opposing energies: strength and flexibility, effort and ease, and the pull of the sun and moon.
