Cate Cameron
Cate Cameron (Durham, NC) is a dance artist and educator based in the New Jersey/NYC area. She received a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Montclair State University in 2024, graduating with honors. Before college she studied dance for nine years, training in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, and dance composition. She also grew up attending classes and intensives at the American Dance Festival, and made her professional stage debut there in 2023. She has performed in works by Doung Varone, Mark Haim, Stefanie Batten Bland, Michelle Manzanales, and Christian von Howard. Her choreographic work has been featured in Finding Compassion at Arts on Site, THAT SHOW at the Judson Memorial Church, and Show Up and Dance with Dance New Jersey. She has been teaching dance since 2018 and loves sharing movement with all ages.
