Mileny Ortiz

Mileny Ortiz is a passionate choreographer, performer, and dance educator with years of experience training and teaching in a wide range of dance styles. A dancer since the age of two, she brings a strong technical foundation, versatility, and vibrant energy to every studio and stage.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Biology with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Fairleigh Dickinson University while continuing her professional dance career. Mileny is a former member of the NHL New York Islanders Energy Team, where she performed at games and community events.

Her training includes working with choreographers such as Kelly Peters and DeShawn “Da Prince” Hawthorne of Royal Thieves, as well as training with Generation X at Brickhouse NYC. Her performance credits include a principal role in the 2022 Winter Olympics Comcast commercial, along with appearances on Good Day Atlanta and Times Square Live.

As a choreographer, Mileny’s work has been showcased in respected productions including Sybarite’s Love is Love Worldwide and ClubNYC. Known for her supportive and high energy teaching style, she creates an environment where dancers can grow, express themselves, and build confidence.
