Become a Triple Threat this summer and experience the fun of dancing, singing, and acting in our Musical Theatre Intensive! With fun, engaging classes conducted in a professional and nurturing environment, exposure to the three different genres of the performing arts, and ample performance opportunities, this Musical Theatre Intensive is designed to help nurture students into becoming more versatile and confident in their talents and capabilities as performers.
THE LITTLE MERMAID: THE MUSICAL
Did you know that this beloved Disney classic is also a Broadway musical? Students joining our Little Mermaid Intensive will have the opportunity to perform at Ridgewood’s celebrated “Movies in the Park” event at Van Neste Square in addition to their in-studio showing on the last day of the intensive.
SAMPLE SCHEDULE:
Monday-Thursday 1pm-4pm
Monday: Dance Technique - Jazz/Theatre Jazz dance, Voice, Performance Rehearsal
Tuesday: Acting, Voice, Performance Rehearsal
Wednesday: Dance Technique - Ballet or Hip Hop, Voice, Performance Rehearsal — *Evening - Performance at Van Neste Square
Thursday: Acting, Voice, Performance Rehearsal, In-Studio Showing
Performance at Ridgewood’s “Movies in the Park” event on Wednesday, July 22nd (optional for students in the Little Mermaid Intensive).
(*Students participating in this optional performance will have a Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday at 6:30pm before the show).
