Dancers should arrive in full hair and makeup at your call time at the theatre (Williams Center For The Arts) for our Nutcracker Performance on Saturday, December 6th.

How to Make a Bun

  • Hair half up/half down & curled*

  • Bun*, slicked back with hairspray and a hairnet

    *To make the perfect hight of your bun, with your fingers, draw a diagonal line from the outer corner of your eyes to the back of your head. Your ponytail should be positioned at that height.

  • Extra high bun on the center of the head of that hats will fit comfortably

Jewelry

Jewelry is not permitted except for a single faux diamond stud earring on each ear.

Makeup Requirement

Makeup is required for all roles since stage lighting can make faces look washed out and invisible. However, makeup can be optional for the roles of Drossel and the Prince.

All required makeup is available for purchase at your local drug store.
Recommended affordable brands: Wet & Wild, Revlon, Nyx, e.l.f.

      • Setting Spray is HIGHLY recommended

    • Cool or warm toned eyeshadow
